SALISBURY’S Carpetright is among 19 stores saved from closure in a rescue deal.
As previously reported, the shop, in Bourne Retail Park, Dairy Meadow Lane, closed at the end of July after Carpetright Ltd went into administration.
More than 1,000 jobs across the UK were lost because of the closures.
Shortly after hiring administrators, the brand was sold to rivals Tapi, along with 54 shops and two warehouses.
However, Bensons for Beds has now said it will save 19 of the more than 200 remaining stores that Carpetright confirmed would shut for good.
