A FAMILY owned department store is celebrating its first year in Salisbury.

Bradbeers, on Blue Boar Row, opened on October 27, 2023, and the team are celebrating its first successful year.

The store stocks a range of popular brands, including Mango, Barbour, Chanel, Jo Malone, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Jack and Jones, Hobbs, Whistle and Selected Femme.

Store manager Adam Mills said: "We have already started to see regular customers coming back that shop with us on a weekly basis. That may be in ladies fashion, but also in our restaurant and champagne bar.

"People can come to the store and do all their Christmas shopping under one roof. We've got products and gifts that suit every single age and budget.

"The first year has show us that customers like what they see and we're getting a regular customer base. As we go through to the second year, that's when we will start to adapt the store more to the needs of the city.

"We will always be trying to improve and look at getting the products in people are looking for."

The full list of discounts will be signposted across the store.

The team are keen to make their mark in Salisbury with its central location and range of brands the city has not seen before, and move on from its predecessor, familiarly referenced by shoppers as a meeting point.

Adam said: "It's not 'meet outside Debenhams' anymore, its meet outside Bradbeers."

The family who own Bradbeers pay a weekly visit to the store, and are hugely involved in the 'look and feel' of it.

Adam said: "They [the owners] wanted to make this store a lot better and more high end than when it was Debenhams. There's lots more brands and lots more designs."

Fashions manager Naomi Young added: "Salisbury is more high-end than the other stores."

The business also has branches in Romsey, New Milton and Hedge End.
