CREW Clothing Company will open its new store in Salisbury on Thursday (November 7).
The retailer was based at 8 Queen Street, a Grade II*-listed building, until Saturday, November 2, when it closed for relocation.
Staff are now preparing to open in a more modern unit at 19-21 Butcher Row.
In October, Salisbury store manager Chris Whitaker said his team were looking forward to the move but sad to leave their “lovely” home behind.
He told the Journal: “It will be very modern, with new fixtures and fittings. There's a bit more footfall up that way. It will be nice.
“There's a lot of character in this building. It's lovely, but we're very limited with what we can do because it's a listed building.
“Hopefully, someone can take on this building and appreciate it, because we've had a long time here.”
A sign in the window of the Queen Street store says: “We are moving to Butcher Row (street opposite), opening Thursday, November 7. See you then!”
The Butcher Row premises were occupied by Jaeger until November 2020.
8 Queen Street is being marketed with Myddelton & Major for £38,500 per year.
