Dinghy Sailing for People with Disabilities
Testwood Lakes Sailability (TLS) provide supervised dinghy sailing for people with any disability. We have a wheelchair accessible pontoon with hoists so wheelchair users can and do access the dinghies. TLS use Hansa 303 Access Dinghies which are designed to be used by people with disabilities. Safety is important and buoyancy aids are provided and there is always an operational support boat crewed and ready to go. The dinghies are skippered by experience dinghy sailors. The sailing session can a trip out onto the water as a passenger or you can go through all or part of the RYA programme to learn to sail and one day you may go single handed.
