COMEDIAN Robin Ince, the star of The Infinite Monkey Cage, is bringing his first new solo show for three years to Salisbury Arts Centre on Friday, June 8, 8pm.
Pragmatic Insanity is a clash of two cultures - a romp through Robin’s favourite artists and the strangest scientific ideas.
From the work of Stanley Spencer to Niels Bohr, it is 90 minutes exploring ideas about creativity in science and art, and asks why we believe we see what we see and why we believe what we believe.
In 2017, Robin completed a 70-date, record-breaking tour with Brian Cox that concluded at the Wembley Arena.
Robin is the winner of a Sony Gold and Rose d’Or award for The Infinite Monkey Cage and has also won the Time Out Outstanding Contribution to Comedy, as well as The Francis Crick Science Journalism Award and 3 Chortle awards.
