A VOLUNTEER who spent three months helping communities in Bangladesh is hosting a photography exhibition at Salisbury Library to share his experiences.
Alex Howell, 24, helped with a project to establish a dairy cooperative and organise livestock training and vaccination camps.
Along with other volunteers, he was also involved in development activities including raising nutritional awareness, promoting women’s rights, latrine installation and blood group testing.
Mr Howell, from Salisbury, now hopes to raise awareness of Voluntary Services Overseas’ work, the benefits of volunteering and the plight of people living in the developing world.
The exhibition opened on June 14 and will be on for the next two months.
