FOUR dance and theatre companies will be showcasing their work in progress at Salisbury Arts Centre on Wednesday as part of an opportunity to develop ideas.
The regular performance in progress night, called Practice, enables arts groups to test new ideas, with a live audience to help inform their creative process.
Run in partnership with ICIA Bath, all participants have roots in the South West.
On Wednesday, Junior Jones will showcase video footage of his attempt to produce a dance piece while submerged under water, and aKa Dance Theatre Company and Alessandro Marzotto Levy from Impermanence Dance Theatre will both present solo dance pieces.
PaddleBoat Theatre Company will showcase storytelling, puppetry and music for a theatre work they’re developing for aimed at children.
Members of the audience will be invited to share their thoughts with a free drink after the four performances, providing an opportunity to help shape new work produced by South West artists.
