SALISBURY Sinfonia return to St Thomas’s Church for a celebration of orchestral music at the weekend.
The concert, which is led by conductor Roland Melia, takes place on Saturday (February 10), 7.30pm.
The performance, opens with the baroque inspired Dumbarton Oakes by Stravinsky.
For the concerto, local soloist Marian Givens will perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.
The concert closes with a work Beethoven regarded as one of his finest, the 7th Symphony.
Tickets are available in advance, £12 for adults, accompanied children free, from Salisbury Information Centre in Fish Row.
Alternatively, tickets can be purchased at the door and are priced £15 for adults and free for accompanied.
