FOLLOWING the hugely successful Piano Portraits tour last year, Rick Wakeman will return with a new show.
The Piano Odyssey Tour is at City Hall, Salisbury tomorrow evening (Thursday, September 27) at 8pm.
Rick says: “In the footsteps of Piano Portraits, the new album Piano Odyssey features a collection of music old and new that includes some particular favourites of mine. I’m looking forward to performing tracks from it live on my own odyssey around the UK in the autumn.”
The concert will be based on a selection of tracks from both Piano Odyssey and Piano Portraits, showcasing music that has a special connection with Rick’s own personal musical journey, all accompanied by his memories and anecdotes about the tunes, plus a few musical surprises.
Other shows at City Hall this week include The Best of Wham on Saturday, 7.30pm and The World Famous Elvis Show, Friday, 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from the City Hall box office box office by calling 01722 434434 or go to cityhallsalisbury.co.uk
