SARUM Six, Salisbury’s newest and coolest a capella ensemble, delivered a brilliant concert to a packed Medieval Hall in Salisbury’s Cathedral Close in aid of Salisbury Trust for the Homeless. The programme of 16th and 17th century madrigals was interspersed with music by Debussy and arrangements of the Beatles’ songs.
The trust’s next fundraiser is a Magic of Christmas concert by the St John Singers. It’s on December 20 at St Thomas’s Church. For details of this and other events see the trust’s website or ring Phyllis Babb on 01722 504017.
