A THIRD Are You Walking with Cancer? event is being held to give those battling the disease and their loved ones a place to meet.
Anyone with cancer, and their friends and family, can go along to the Greyfriars Community Centre in Ringwood this Saturday from 1.45pm to 4.45pm and talk to others in a similar situation.
There will also be therapists there, possibly including a psychic surgeon, an Indian head massage therapist, Hopi ear candles, a trans healer, a counsellor and a reiki therapist.
The first two events so far have raised £407 for the Macmillan breast cancer nurses at Bournemouth Hospital, enabling them to buy a printer and copier to make their own brochure of pictures to show people facing a mastectomy what may happen to them.
The next thing the unit wants to raise money for is tea and coffee making facilities for patients.
Entry is free. More information from Lyn on 07764 270627.
