TEN teams battled it out in a go-kart competition at Wessex Raceway for charity.
A range of local businesses raced around the track in Coombe Bissett on November 14, before an auction was held.
A successful day of racing – won by Hewlett Turf & Landscapes - ensured £2,660 was raised and split between Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal and Youth Cancer Trust.
Raceway director Robin Vanderzee said: “We’re grateful to all the competing teams and auction sponsors that helped to make the evening such a success.”
