THE first episode of First Time Farmers was broadcast on Channel 4 last Friday. The five-part observational documentary series looks at all aspects of farming life through the eyes of the younger generation.
Filmed over a six-month period, the programme lifts the lid on the dilemmas, pressures and daily grind of young farmers living in the Cotswolds, Herefordshire and the West Country.
Created by the same team behind Made in Chelsea, each episode will meet three young farmers including apprentices, shepherds and slaughtermen. The programme is broadcast on Friday evenings at 8pm.
