HROTHGAR the Viking enthralled children at Manor Fields Primary School in Salisbury on Tuesday.
The Year 3 and 4 pupils got the chance to explore a Viking camp, set up in the hall for the day, as well as learning all about how Vikings ate, made fires, used tools and weapons and listened to stories of the Gods.
Deputy headteacher Jane Fielding said: βIt was a fantastic day. The children have been doing the topic Secrets of the Past and Year 3 and 4 have been concentrating on the Vikings. This really brought the topic to life for them and helped them to understand it.β
