TWO free family fitness sessions are being held in Salisbury and Tidworth to help fight childhood obesity in Wiltshire.
Angela Ross, 43, who runs Physique Boot Camp, is holding a number of health and fitness events throughout the year to raise awareness of the importance of exercise for both adults and children.
She is holding two free family fitness sessions, in Tidworth on Saturday, July 6 and in Salisbury on Sunday, July 7, in conjunction with National Child Obesity Week.
“By making small changes to their activity levels and nutrition we can give these children a brighter outlook for the future,” she said.
“The majority of children these days spend less time outdoors and more time on gaming, computers or sat in front of the television. It’s time to get them back to basics again, fresh air and exercise does wonders for your wellbeing and can be fun too.”
