CHILDREN from military families in Tidworth have a new ‘super’ play park, named Hero Park by youngsters from Clarendon Infant and Junior schools.
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and MODern Housing Solutions (MHS) have provided the new facility in Wylye Road, which can be enjoyed by toddlers and teenagers alike.
The aim is to provide a much-needed focal point for Tidworth Garrison community with the latest in play equipment and communal seating. Garrison commander Colonel James Denny officially opened the park on Friday along with representatives of Tidworth Town Council, including the Mayor Chris Franklin.
