SALISBURY’S Quakers will be giving people an insight into the worship that takes place at their Wilton Road headquarters during National Quaker Week, which runs from tomorrow to Sunday, October 6.
In addition to regular meetings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday lunchtimes, a special Meeting for Worship will be held in the Trinity Chapel of Salisbury Cathedral on Sunday, September 29 at 3.00pm.
And for those who’d like to try starting their day in contemplative quiet, there’s also early morning worship followed by breakfast on Monday, September 30 and Friday, October 4, starting at 8am.
Quakers will be on hand to explain how their faith shapes their daily lives, and how they put faith into action and use it to work for social and political change.
