STUDENTS at Ringwood School have hosted another successful senior citizens’ Christmas party.
The evening saw sixth form students welcome the town’s senior generation into the school for an evening of festive entertainment and supper for the eighth year running.
A hundred guests were treated to a two-course supper, while the students provided an evening of entertainment including harp playing, dancing, bingo, carols and a festive raffle. Staff volunteered lifts to those who were unable to arrange their own transport.
The event was organised by sixth form students. Local businesses supported the evening by donating items for the raffle and bingo.
Guest Joyce Renson said to the students: “Once again you have all given a great deal of enjoyment and pleasure to us oldies.
“Thank you so much for a most enjoyable party.”
