A NEW exhibition opening tonight explores instances when a moment in time and space is held.
Liz Lore, who is in her final year of a Fine Art degree at Arts University in Bournemouth, became curious about the concept after her mother went into hospital for a major heart operation which involved controlled hypothermia.
Suspend explores the deeper meaning of the word. Lore, who was born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts but is now based in Salisbury, has interpreted the meaning visually and in the context of holding a memory in time through a series of photographs and prints.
The exhibition at the Boathouse Cafe and Restaurant on Millstream Approach is open from today until February 2, from 11am until 6pm.
If you would like to meet the artist and enjoy a welcome drink, the exhibition opens tonight between 6pm and 8pm.
