A MAN was assaulted as he walked through Salisbury City Centre last Monday.
The 24-year-old victim was walking along Catherine Street at about 5.45pm on Monday, February 24 when he was attacked.
He was able to run off towards the alley into Brown Street car park and did not sustain any serious injury.
His attacker is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing dark clothing with a hood up.
PC Andy Morgan of Salisbury Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information regarding this assault.
He would particularly like to speak to a female jogger who was seen in Catherine Street at the time as she may have information that can assist the investigation.
