A YOUTH project in Salisbury is looking for trustees. Salisbury Youth Venture, the charitable arm of The Unit, is looking for trustees with a wide variety of skills and experience.
The Unit, in Endless Street, provides teenagers from Salisbury and surrounding villages with a newly refurbished drop-in space and activities, programmes and events including work advice, training and CV help, volunteering and citizenship opportunities, and the chance to complete accredited qualifications.
Trustees are needed to use their skills and experience to ensure the charity runs efficiently, and they are able to get advice from external sources such as solicitors or other experts if they need to.
Salisbury Youth Venture meets about four times a year and some of the projects it has worked on with The Unit include the Sound and Light gig and the Teenage Market.
