THERE was a bumper crop of entries at Harnham Garden Society’s spring show on Saturday.
The event, held in Harnham Memorial Hall, attracted 203 adult entries in a wide range classes including floral displays, craft and cookery.
There were also several children’s classes including decorated fairy cakes, photography and hand written poetry, which was won by Katy Jewell, who also won Best in Show for her poem about Dr Barnardo.
The judges praised the quality of the entries, particularly in the daffodils classes, and Mayor of Salisbury Penny Brown admired the displays before presenting the prizes.
