A WOMAN from Salisbury has completed a skydive in memory of a friend who died from cancer.
Jonathan Finn died last year at the age of 49, and Karen Gardiner, 42, of White Friars Road, Salisbury, promised him when he was ill that she would do a skydive to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
And on Thursday the mother of six, who works for Wessex Care in Salisbury, kept her promise, jumping from a plane at Old Sarum along with her friend Kate Ridley, raising £1,000.
She said: “It was brilliant – really amazing. I’m definitely going to do it again.”
