IN the lead up to Armed Forces Day, reservists were encouraged to wear their military uniform to work to demonstrate to their colleagues their commitment to the forces.

Three reservists who wore their uniforms last Wednesday were Major Mike Dalzell, who is a scientist at Dstl, Porton Down, and Lance Corporal Matt Jarrett, who also works at Dstl, as a graduate technical consultant, both from ‘A’ Squadron Royal Yeomanry (Swindon).

Also joining the event was WO2 Darren Hill from B Squadron The Wessex Yeomanry, Old Sarum, who is a self-employed builder from Durrington.
