TWO retired Royal Navy officers reunited in Salisbury, 50 years after they last met.
David Burton, who served on HMS Dufton in Borneo in the 1960s, spotted a picture of a former colleague in the Journal.
Mr Burton decided to track down Albert Dance to give him copies of slides taken during their time working together.
“I saw Albert in the Journal getting a medal. He has a fairly unusual name and I recognised his face,” said Mr Burton.
He got in touch with Castle View care home in Salisbury, where Mr Dance lives, and the pair met up on Monday for a trip down memory lane.
