THIS is the first attempt to harvest the winter wheat at Upper Farm, Milston, near Durrington.
Photographer David Hargrave said of the harvest: “The straw is still not quite as ripe as you would like, but it will soon dry after it is cut.
“The corn is fine and has already gone off to central storage for selling – no need for drying at the moment this year.”
