A FREE family festival full of workshops, activities and live performances comes to Salisbury Arts Centre on Saturday, September 6.
The theme for the event is ARTificial, taking a look at all things out of this world.
And the Arts Centre team is encouraging people to “come as they aren’t!”
This year’s Family Fiesta has been squeezed into one action-packed day with the fun starting at 12 noon.
The Buschellini Trio will start the programme with their unexpected musical delights including the best of Victorian and Edwardian light music on phonofiddles, saws and piano.
The fun continues with the international award-winning funny man Fraser Hooper, right.
Take a ringside seat as he presents his hilarious boxing show, packed full of comedy for all ages to enjoy.
And there will be a selection of creative and quirky workshops to get stuck into from 12noon to 5pm.
Go on an animated adventure with Matthew Dean, let Charlotte Moreton and her assistants transform your face into a living work of art or get hands-on with resident ceramicist Mirka Golden-Hann and create mystical and other worldly creatures from clay.
Salisbury Arts Centre’s Family Fiesta takes place on Saturday 6 September from 12noon – 5pm.
This is a free event but tickets are required. To book call the box office on 01722 321744 or visit salisburyartscentre.co.uk.
