AFTER a break of many years, the Woodford Valley is once again playing in Salisbury's Table Tennis League.
Formed 18 months ago, Woodford Table Tennis Club meets every Tuesday at Woodford Village Hall and after a slow start now regularly fills the hall with three tables and a mixture of singles and doubles play.
Having joined Salisbury Table Tennis Association over the summer the club's brand new team (Woodford Weasels) has made a good start in Division 2.
Woodford is the only affiliated club to the north of Salisbury to have weekly practice nights and is also the closest to Salisbury itself.
New members of any age or ability are always welcome to come along to Tuesday's informal sessions and can find out more at wvhall.uk.
