THE Fordingbridge Players will put on the first show of Gold, Frankincense and Murder at The Burgate School theatre tonight.
The play, by Bryan Darby, has been directed by Betty Price and produced by Nicki Salmond.
It is described as “a serious subject served with a good helping of humour” with “an intriguing new slant on the traditional whodunit”.
On Christmas Eve in Compton Gurney, parishioners arriving for Midnight Mass are unaware that, as the priest lies ill in hospital, the bishop lies dead in the church.
This show runs until Saturday. Tickets are £8 from Jessica’s in Fordingbridge High Street.
