A SALISBURY cafe has been named as the runner-up in the Best Cheap Eats category in the annual Observer Food Monthly Awards.

The Cafe at Fisherton Mill in Fisherton Street was recognised for its locally-sourced and freshly-prepared culinary treats.

Owner and chef Michael Fox said: “It is fantastic that the Observer has recognised Fisherton Mill once again and I feel really inspired to create new ideas for simple but tasty lunches. “I'm also planning to develop a range of chutneys and jams for customers to enjoy at home.”
