RUSH hour traffic was delayed in both directions following two crashes on the A31 at Pouner last Thursday morning.

The first crash happened when a white van went into the central reservation just before the Burley turn-off. One lane was closed westbound near Picket Post services.

Traffic backed up for miles while the van was recovered.

The second accident happened when one car crashed, blocking the inside lane at the bottom of Poulner Hill near Ringwood.

The crash took place between the Ringwood junction and the Linford turn off and one lane was blocked.
