CHILDREN in the Forest went red nose daft on Friday, raising hundreds of pounds for Comic Relief.
Children at St James’ First School in Alderholt got into the spirit of the day.
Great fun was had at Hillside Community First School in Verwood.
The School Council, run by elected pupils from each year group, ran two fundraising events - a bring and buy sale of toys and books and a fun run around the school grounds. Their efforts raised more than £400 so far.
And pupils at Moyles Court threw wet sponges at head teacher Richard Milner-Smith and head of PE Paul Towler on Thursday – raising more than £100.
