I WOULD like to thank everyone who supported our recent fund raising evening Let's Dance held in the Town Hall Fordingbridge.

Around 85 guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment provided by the group Legacy Sound, who had everyone up on their feet dancing to 50s, 60s, and 70s music, and a sit down buffet.

A special mention must go to businesses of Fordingbridge who helped support the event and included Dibben Joinery of Sandleheath, Caxton Decor and Jessica Fashion of Fordingbridge, Mr & Mrs Rawlings of Fordingbridge and friends of Animals' Voice Dot and Sheila.

The event was organised by the team at Animals' Voice Pat Earth, Jayne Bird and Tracy Cooper. They were helped during the evening by volunteers Susan Harding and Jeanette Beedles, to whom they are extremely grateful.

The event raised a staggering £822 and will go towards their new project in setting up an educational and wildlife sanctuary local to the area.

I would like to say that everyone has been extremely supportive – especially as our trust is not government funded and our organisation has to raise all its own funds.

We are ever hopeful that further fund raising events will help us achieve our goal in the not so distant future!
