Wardour Catholic Primary School welcome Bishop Declan (25317446)
THE CHILDREN, governors and staff warmly welcomed Bishop Declan to the school. As well as blessing the school's Sports hall and the new Prayer Garden, he presented the children from St Georges class with their ‘ Leaders of Faith’ bronze certificate. Also, following the act of dedication he awarded the new Chaplaincy Team with their badges.
Headteacher, Caroline Lander, said: “ this was a wonderful way to celebrate all the hard work that had been carried out by the pupils, staff and Governors over the last 6 months. It was a privilege to welcome Bishop Declan and show him around our wonderful, vibrant school."
