RUBY came into our care as her previous owners were no longer able to care for her. She can be a little shy initially, especially wary of men, so will need time and patience to get to know anyone and to settle in her new surroundings.
She is looking for a quiet home with people who have owned dogs in the past preferably having had some experience of nervous behaviour.
Ruby has lived with cats in the past, although she was quite playful with them, so may be ok to live with a confident cat used to dogs if given the time and space to get to know one another. She may be able to be left for a couple of hours in the day and could possibly live with children mid to late teens.
Since being in our care Ruby has had an operation on her eyelid to remove an abnormal hair follicle that was irritating her eye, hopefully this will not cause any further problems.
If you are interested in adopting Ruby, please contact the centre for more information.
