KNITTED knights and barons have taken over a window display in Salisbury.
The knights and King John, who even have their own castle, are on display at Franklins sewing shop in Fisherton Street.
Branch manager Neil Mauldon said: “It took six months to complete and they were all made by three people, two of whom work here – Trina Crocker and Annette Woodford, and Annette’s mother Margaret Urwin.
“The ladies have worked very hard to get them done in that time and they look really good.
“It’s our way of celebrating the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta and it will remain our display until August.”
