A NEW Director of Communications and Development has been appointed by Salisbury Cathedral, having most recently been employed by nearby Winchester Cathedral.
Jane has over twenty years’ experience as a development and communications professional, much of it in the culture and heritage sector, including the Corn Exchange Arts Centre in Newbury and, most recently, at Winchester Cathedral, where Jane has been Campaign Director of the current capital appeal. She has also worked in the capacity of Project Manager for Wiltshire based community organisations.
The Dean of Salisbury, the Very Revd June Osborne, said “We are delighted that Jane is joining us in this new combined role at Salisbury Cathedral.
Her extensive experience in both marketing and fundraising capacities will contribute significantly to the success of our future endeavours. I am so much looking forward to working closely with her as we continue to strengthen our community ties, work towards completing our Major Repair Programme and shape our future strategy raising the profile of this living church and iconic building.”
