THE current organiser of the Onward Stroke Club will be retiring at Christmas after volunteering for 12 years. The club are now looking for someone to take over the position.
The volunteers would have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of stroke survivors and their families as well as meeting inspirational people from all walks of life.
The club provides a caring and friendly environment for stroke survivors where their loved ones can relax and join in with activities as well as outings.
It is supported by a long established team of volunteers, funded by donation, and affiliated to the Stroke Association. The club meets on alternate Thursday mornings at the Scout Hall in Stratford Road, Salisbury from 10am to midday.
