COMMUNITY groups across Wiltshire are being urged to apply for grants from a £1m fund set up to help towns and villages be better prepared for emergency situations and extreme weather.
Southern Electric Power Distribution is inviting applications for its Resilient Communities Fund for causes that will benefit communities large and small.
The deadline for this round of money is September 25.
Community groups and notfor- profit organisations can apply for grants of between £500 and £20,000.
