SALISBURY’S Independents Day produced some extra winners from our readers.
The competition, held by the Journal in the summer, was aimed at the public, voting their top businesses in three different categories.
Entrants were asked to email the editor and nominate their favourites for independent retail, health and beauty and food and drink businesses.
Those who selected the winners then had their names put in a hat and for a champagne draw prize, and the winners were:
Nathan Barnett, pictured here with Dan Smith and the team from Seven Ivy – winner of the hair and beauty section;
Lucy Farrow with Jan and Natalie Aston of OSO Boutique – winner of the retail category; and Doreen Hill with Paul Henderson and the Henderson’s team – food and drink winners.
