GREEN-FINGERED lovers and scarecrow makers were rewarded for their summer projects.
Winners of this year's Salisbury City Council allotment, scarecrow and garden's competition were singled out by Salisbury Mayor Andrew Roberts.
Prizes and certificates were handed out to winners and runner-ups at Salisbury Guildhall on Wednesday.
Keith Lawrence was awarded a cup for the best plot overall in the allotment competition,
residents of Holmwood won the scarecrow category with the making of Antonio and Buster and the garden's competition was scooped by Braemar Lodge.
