MOVING into the sixth form is an exciting, formative and decisive time of life.

The Salisbury Grammar Schools’ Sixth Form Partnership between Bishop Wordsworth’s School (BWS) and South Wilts Grammar School (SWG) offers a vibrant and supportive environment in which to develop into independent, enterprising and confident adults.

BWS headmaster Stuart Smallwood said: “At the heart of what we offer is academic excellence: students are taught by experts who have a proven track record of success in helping them to make excellent progress.”

SWG head teacher Michele Chilcott said: “Students are supported by excellent pastoral care: we genuinely want to meet each student’s needs so that all can fulfil their potential." The outstanding range and quality of enrichment activities (from sport to music, debating to science – and lots more) help students develop their personality and interests outside the classroom

“We provide superb careers and personal development advice to encourage students to make their own decisions about what they want to do when they leave us. Whether that is university, the world of work, an apprenticeship or medicine, our tailored support will guide them to a successful future.

Mr Smallwood added: “Many students join our outstanding schools for the sixth form and we would be delighted to meet you at our open afternoons or evening.”
