A 21-YEAR-OLD motorcycle rider was airlifted to hospital with "serious life changing injuries" after a head-on crash today (Tuesday).
It happened at 7.45am and involved a black BMW Z4 and a Moto Roma motorcycle.
The BMW was driving along Marlborough Road towards Pewsey from Everleigh when it was involved in the head-on crash with the motorcycle, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
PC Neil Hardman, of Wiltshire Police Tri Force Road Policing, said: "The 21-year-old rider of the motorcycle has sustained serious life changing injuries and was airlifted by Great Western Air Ambulance to Southampton General Hospital."
The 50-year-old woman driver of the BMW was uninjured.
The road was closed for about four hours for collision investigation work to be carried out.
