LUCY-JANE Matthews secured gold in the girls' under 15s pentathlon during the England Athletics National Championships in Sheffield.
The 14-year-old, who attends South Wilts, won the event earlier this month in a championship best performance, recording the second highest score of all time by an under 15 girl. Only Olympian Morgan Lake recorded a bigger points total in 2011.
Lucy-Jane's road to success started in the 60m hurdles, which she completed in 8.96 seconds.
She went onto win the long jump (5.46m), shot put (11.61m) and high jump (1.61m).
Her total points of 3649 propelled her to top spot in the UK.
