OUT-OF-FORM Amesbury Town continue to look over their shoulder in Sydenhams Wessex Premier after a 3-2 home defeat to Newport (IOW).
Blues paid the price for twice chucking away a lead against the Islanders on Saturday and have now collected one point in 11 games. The last time they picked up three points was in mid-January over Bournemouth Poppies.
Tyler Brockway struck the opener on 13 minutes with a well-taken spot kick.
Newport were then awarded a penalty themselves with Connor Kelly adding to his goal tally and bringing the game back to 1-1.
The hosts then restored their advantage after the break as another penalty was awarded and Brockway, again, duly dispatched.
Liam Triggs conjured up an equaliser shortly after the hour mark.
And as both sides chased a winner, it was the visitors who pounced with 10 minutes remaining thanks to Joe Butcher's strike.
Amesbury's first of their final four fixtures is against Verwood Town on Saturday (3pm).
