A MAN has been arrested after two males were seen running through gardens on Pullman Drive in Salisbury.
Police were called to the incident at about 2am yesterday (Thursday 14 September) and on arrival spotted two males coming out of an alleyway.
One of the males was stopped, while the other one ran off after dropping a holdall he was carrying.
The 36-year-old man from Salisbury, who had been stopped, was searched and was found to have a screwdriver, torch and keys. He was arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary.
He has been release under investigation.
The holdall was found to contain a drill, four knives in sheaths, keys and a wallet.
Police enquiries are continuing and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area at this time.
