FORDINGBRIDGE was transformed with red poppies to commemorate Remembrance Day.
More than 2,500 knitted and crocheted poppies were created for the special yarn bomb display and decorated the route of the Remembrance Day parade on Sunday.
Reverend Rachel Noël, the assistant curate of The AvonValley Partnership, said the project has involved people from across the whole community. “There’s been an incredible outpouring of support for this project, with people finding out about it through social media and word of mouth,” she said.
“We are so glad to have brought together some of the more hidden members of our community to achieve the fabulous display through the town.”
