A SALISBURY man is among six people to appear before the city’s law court charged with drug-related offences.

Andrew Nicholson, 37, of Sassoon Close, Salisbury, is charged with two offences of conspiring with others to supply Class A controlled drugs, namely a quantity of diamorphine (heroin) and crack cocaine, at Salisbury between May 1 and August 5.

He is further charged with two offences of acquiring, using or having possession of criminal property, namely a quantity of cash, on July 11 at Salisbury.

Diago Monteiro-Sanchez Cunga, 19, of 25 Murray Square, Canning Town, London, is charged with two offences of conspiring with others to supply heroin and crack cocaine between May 1 and August 5. A warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to show in court.

Two others were each charged with two offences of conspiring with others to supply a quantity of heroin and crack cocaine between May 1 and August 5 at Salisbury. They are Joshua Jordan, 20, of HMP Pentonville, Caledonian Road, London, and Mikale Lavartree Kendall-Morris, 19, of HMP Isis, Western Way, London.

Mr Kendall-Morris is further charged with concealing £1,300, by means of paying the proceeds of the sale of Class A drugs into another person’s bank account.

Ms Jenifer Guimaraes, 20, of 50B Carnarvon Road, London, is charged with two offences of allowing the proceeds of the sale of Class A drugs to be concealed in her bank account. One charge, valued at £610, relates to an offence on June 28, and the second, valued at £1,020, relates to an offence on June 29, both in London.

Lastly, Maisie Ashman, 23, of 23 Tarling Road, Canning Town, London, is charged with allowing the proceeds of the sale of Class A drugs, namely £1,300, to be concealed in her bank account on June 28 in London.

None of the six defendants have entered pleas to the charges. The cases against all were adjourned to Friday, January 3 at Winchester Crown Court.
