TWO people have been arrested after a shop worker was violently assaulted in Ringwood.
A man of 53 and a boy of 17, both from Burlesdon, Hampshire, were taken into custody after the member of staff suffered jaw injuries and a concussion.
Police say three men entered the Waitrose store on The Furlong and filled a trolley with goods before becoming involved in a dispute with a member of staff between 6.35pm and 7.10pm on Friday, December 1.
The worker was assaulted by one man before all three ran off.
One of the men returned and threw a bottle at the member of staff outside the store, hitting him in the face.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact police on 101, quoting 44170467828, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
