MILITARY personnel have joined emergency services at Bourne Hill this afternoon.
Ambulance crews have been meeting with the army at the city centre council and police offices which have become the base for the Metropolitan Police during the ongoing attempted murder investigation this week.
The scenes are similar to those seen yesterday at Salisbury's ambulance station, when a military loader vehicle removed several ambulances and ambulance cars for further forensic investigation.
Witnesses have confirmed that police vehicles are now being removed.
Wiltshire Police today reassured the public that the military have been brought in to assist counter terror officers in removing "a number of vehicles and objects in and around Salisbury".
In a Tweet, the force added: "Please don't be alarmed if you see this going on, and the public health advice remains the same."
